Do You Wake Up Ready to Dance?

Do you ever wake up so ready to meet the new day, so ready to express yourself,  that you get out of bed dancing? No, this is not a rhetorical question. Seriously, that person shaking her booty at 7 a.m. could be you. Perhaps the only thing standing between you and weekday bliss is work that you love!

You are probably kicking yourself right now and thinking, “Why didn’t I think of that myself?” Give yourself a break. Research studies show that as much as 2/3 of the workforce is unhappy with the work they have chosen to do as a means of livelihood. This means you have lots of company and after all, misery loves company.

Ok, maybe you are not exactly miserable, but if you are anything less than “really happy” with your job or your career-related choices, it is time to take a closer look at how you spend anywhere from 40 to 60 hours (or more) per week of your life’s time. And it is time to take some action!

You deserve to be happy. You deserve to feel fulfilled. You deserve to do what you love and love what you do. You deserve to wake up dancing!

Just in case, you decide to start dancing tomorrow morning, here is a favorite song of mine, called “Sonnentanz” or “Sundance”  from an Austrian band from Salzburg called “Klangkarussell”:
